For clients who qualify for a Mental Health Care Plan (developed by a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician) a total of 10 sessions per calendar year can be accessed with a significant medicare rebate (see below for more information). A review with your GP is required after the first six sessions of the calendar year, after which an additional four sessions can be granted.

FEES and REBATES:

Dr Keogh aims to keep the cost of psychological care affordable for her clients and her fees are significantly lower than the APS Recommended rate of $228 per hour.

For individuals with a Mental Health Care Plan developed by their GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, a Medicare rebate of $124.50 per session applies (for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year), keeping the out of pocket cost to a minimum for Dr Keogh's clients.

For further details regarding fees and rebates please contact the office as these may vary depending on your circumstances. Please note that private health insurance rebates may also apply.

PAYMENT:

Fees are payable on the day of service and can be paid via cash, cheque, EFTPOS or VISA (please note that VISA transactions carry a 2% surcharge). Fees paid for via EFTPOS can be deposited back into your account immediately, using the MedicareEasy Claim system.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

When an appointment is made with Dr Keogh, a full hour is put aside for you and your consultation. Given the high demand for Dr Keogh's services, 24 hours notice is required for cancellations to provide enough time for the appointment to be filled by others who require assistance.

For cancellations that are between 0 and 24 hours prior to your appointment, the FULL SESSION FEE is charged if your appointment can't be filled, as per the Australian Psychological Society Guidelines for cancellations.

It is with regret that debt collection services are used for unpaid invoices.
